Oversubscription (bids ÷ quota) is the cleanest read on demand pressure — sustained ratios above ~1.3× tend to precede firm premiums; ratios near 1× give bidders breathing room.
COE renewal (PQP)
The Prevailing Quota Premium is what you pay to renew an existing COE instead of bidding — a 3-month moving average of results, updated monthly by LTA. Renew for 10 years at full PQP, or 5 years at half (one-time, then scrap). Renewing forfeits your PARF rebate permanently.

PQP forecaster
PQP is the average of the six bidding results in the three months before your renewal month — so part of it gets locked in round by round. Pick a target and see what the remaining rounds must average, and how far COE must correct from today's price.

Next-round outlook (indicative, not advice)
Momentum extension of recent rounds only — quota changes, launches and bidding behaviour can move premiums far outside these bands.

Which category is my car?
Cat A: non-fully-electric cars up to 1,600cc and 97kW (130bhp), EVs up to 110kW. Cat B: above those thresholds. Cat E: open category, usable for any vehicle.
What is PQP and what does renewal cost?
The Prevailing Quota Premium is the 3-month moving average of COE results, and it is what you pay to renew instead of bidding. For July 2026 it is S$123,315 (Cat A) and S$124,705 (Cat B). A 10-year renewal costs the full PQP; a 5-year renewal costs half but can only be done once. Renewing forfeits your PARF rebate for good, so weigh it against scrapping or selling.
